To enhance the visitor management experience, the new Visitor Appointment System will commence trial operation on February 25, 2025.

I. System User Guide
(1) How to access the System
- Mobile: "HKUST(GZ) Go" WeChat Mini Program – Visitor (New)
- PC: Click the link (https://vis.hkust-gz.edu.cn/pc/#/login) and log in with the SSO account
(2) How to enter the campus
① For visitors inside China’s mainland
- Obtain QR code: Approved visitors will receive a message with an access link directing to "HKUST(GZ) Go" WeChat Mini Program. Please log in with the phone number to obtain the QR code.
- Entry verification: Scan the QR code at the campus gate.
② For visitors outside China’s mainland
- Obtain QR code: Approved visitors will receive an email with the QR code link.
(Note: Hosts can check appointment records and obtain the QR code link through the mobile portal, then forward to visitors directly.)
- Entry Verification: Scan the QR code at the campus gate.
II. Transitional Arrangement for the Visitor Appointment System
The new System will run in parallel with the existing one for a certain period. Appointments made through the existing System still work in the original way, and its functions remain unchanged. The decommissioning time of the original system will be notified separately.
During this period, we will closely monitor the operation of the new system and make timely adjustments and optimizations based on feedback from users.
III. Special Acknowledgments
During the development of the system, we received extensive participation and support. We would like to extend our special gratitude to the award-winning undergraduate students (WANG Yunuo, WU Xingzhi, SITU Zixuan, CHI Mo, TAO Wenxiang, LIU Qiuyue) from the Campus Visitor System Innovation and Development Competition organized by Thrust of Urban Governance and Design (UGOD). Under the guidance and assistance of engineers from Information Technology Department (ITD), their proposals contributed to the partial development of the new System, providing valuable insights for system optimization.
