To optimize the quality and efficiency of GPT and DeepSeek services, the University will perform an upgrade on the GPT & DeepSeek Service System on June 16, 2025.

[Service Suspension] 

The GPT and DeepSeek Service Systems will be temporarily unavailable for maintenance from 18:00 to 22:00 on June 16, 2025. Both the chat interface and API services will be suspended during this time. Please ensure to plan your usage accordingly.

[Upgrade Details]

1.     New Service Name 

(1)   For the PC Version: The system name will be changed from "GPT Service System" to "AIGC Service System"

A.The chat service domain will be updated from https://gpt.hkust-gz.edu.cn/ to https://aigc.hkust-gz.edu.cn/. The original domain will remain accessible before July 1st.

B.The API service domain will be updated from https://gpt-api.hkust-gz.edu.cn/ to https://aigc-api.hkust-gz.edu.cn/. The original domain will remain accessible before July 1st.

(2)   For Mobile Version: The entrance of Mini Program will be changed from "Campus GPT " to "AIGC"

2.     DeepSeek Service Enhancement

(1)   The chat interface will now present "Reasoning Content" and "Response Content" separately, enhancing user comprehension of the model’s reasoning process. 

(2)   The API output will no longer provide a single response (content), but instead separate "Reasoning Content (reasoning_content)" and "Response Content (content)", offering more detailed model outputs for research teams.

3.     Upgraded DeepSeek Model

DeepSeek-R1 full-powered version will be upgraded to DeepSeek-R1-0528 full-powered version.
